ORDERING INFORMATION

Orders placed by telephone or in person will be processed and paid for at the time of order. If the delivery is delayed by the customer over 28 days, e.g. when moving house or redecorating then the customer will be required to pay a 25% deposit at the time of order with the balance due 4 working days before final delivery. Orders that are received via our website will automatically be paid in full at the time of order through our secure banking system regardless of delivery requirements.

PAYMENT: We accept Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Solo and cheques made payable to New England Lifestyle Ltd. If paying by cheque please allow 5 working days for the cheque to clear before delivery.

ORDER CANCELLATION: If you are ordering sofas or upholstered chairs, which are made to order then we reserve the right to charge you a proportion of the total order value if you cancel your order. You may cancel your order for wooden furniture and/or accessories for any reason up to the point of dispatch and will receive a full refund including delivery charge within 30 days.

DELIVERY INFORMATION

FURNITURE: We aim to deliver furniture that is in stock between 10-28 days and an estimated delivery date will be given on or soon after your order is accepted. Prices are per delivery and not per item.

LARGE FURNITURE: It is your responsibility to check that there is sufficient access for the products and also for our delivery lorry to reach the delivery address. Please ensure that all entrances, rooms and staircases have been measured accurately, allowing at least 3 extra centimetres for packaging. Please note that our delivery crew will not attempt delivery where damage might occur to your home or the products. Likewise they will not remove doors or windows. In the event that we are unable to deliver your furniture due to insufficient access, we will refund you the cost of the product but retain the delivery charge.

ACCESSORIES: We aim to deliver accessories that are in stock within 2-7 working days.

CUSTOMER COLLECTIONS: We do not allow the collection of furniture orders unless they are small items (e.g. a bedside table or mirror) and the customer agrees to take full responsibility for the items as soon as they leave our warehouse. We cannot provide a refund for any furniture that is taken by you and damaged in transit.

CUSTOMER SATISFACTION

FURNITURE: If for any reason you are not satisfied with your product and let us know at the time of delivery we will take it away and refund you the cost of the product within 30 days but retain the delivery charge.

If you are not satisfied with your product within 14 days of receipt we will be happy to offer you an exchange or refund provided that the products remain in perfect condition. We will charge a collection fee (equivalent to the delivery charge) to collect the products from you; the cost of the product will be refunded within 30 days of the goods being received back into our warehouse.

SOFAS/UPHOLSTERED CHAIRS: If for any reason you are not satisfied with your sofa or upholstered chair which has been made to order within 14 days we will be happy to offer you a refund minus 25% of the total cost of the product. We will charge a collection fee (equivalent to the delivery charge) to collect the product from you.

ACCESSORIES: If you are not satisfied with your product within 14 days of receipt please return it to us in perfect condition, with its original packaging and with your proof of purchase for a refund or exchange. For all returns, except where the item is faulty, you will be required to arrange and pay for the return of the product to us. If you prefer, we will arrange to collect the product from you, but the cost of this will be charged to you and may be deducted from any refund to you. We will only refund the costs of postage where the item returned is faulty.

DATA PROTECTION

We reserve the right to store all customer details on our ordering system and a paper copy of your order at our Head Office until such a time we deem it suitable to destroy them. We will take all reasonable steps to ensure all information remains confidential. We will not disclose your personal data to anyone, unless required to do so by a court of competent jurisdiction.
